What ingredients are used to color the shampoo and conditioner bars?Updated 8 months ago

Our shampoo and conditioner bars use naturally-derived or nature-identical coloring. Here’s what we use:

Vanilla Coconut: Mica, Iron Oxides, Titanium Dioxide, Silica.
Sweet Sandalwood: Iron Oxides.
Citrus Sun: Mica, Bismuth Oxychloride, Iron Oxides.
Cool Breeze: Ultramarines.
Wild Lavender: Manganese Violet.
Simple Fresh: Chromium Oxide Greens.
Nature-identical colorants are made in a lab but have the same makeup as natural minerals. This approach ensures product performance, safety, and sustainability, similar to lab-grown diamonds.

Some customers are concerned about Titanium Dioxide, found only in our Vanilla Coconut bars. Our bars contain non-nano Titanium Dioxide, meaning the molecules are too large to be absorbed by your skin and are safely rinsed off.

The colorants we use comply with USA and EU cosmetic coloring regulations. If you'd prefer a color-free option, our unscented bar is a great choice.
